I was born in Izmir. After graduating from Ege University Faculty of Medicine, I completed my assistantship at Akdeniz University. In 2012, I was appointed as an assistant professor at Erzincan University Faculty of Medicine. In 2013-2014, I received training on Robotic urology, Laparoscopy, Laser, and urological cancers at Heidelberg University Clinicum Heilbronn. In 2013, I was appointed as an assistant professor at Harran University Faculty of Medicine. I received my associate professorship in 2015. In 2020, I became a professor at Izmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Medicine.

My scientific studies are mostly related to surgical treatment of urological cancers and new surgical techniques, laparoscopy and robotic surgeries. Since many publications are the first in the literature, they are scientifically very valuable.

-I have served as an invited speaker and surgeon in over 50 scientific meetings and congresses.

-I have given training on laparoscopy, robotic surgery and flexible URS to foreign participants in many countries abroad and performed live surgical operations; Romania, Russia, Bulgaria, Greece, Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Germany, Azerbaijan are the main ones.

-I mostly work on urological cancers in my urology operating room practice. I perform laparoscopic extraperitoneal (WITHOUT ENTERING THE CLOSED ABDOMEN) radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer with the method I developed.

WITH THIS OPERATION DEVELOPMENT I RECEIVED THE INNOVATIVE SURGERY DOCTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD IN 2024 -

-I provide international training in my clinic. I accepted urology specialists from Ukraine in 2018 and from Jordan in 2025.
