He was born on 30 August 1986 in Gaziantep. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep. In 2011, he graduated from Malatya İnönü University Faculty of Medicine. In 2012, he started his Urology residency at Istanbul Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital and was appointed to Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist Doctor in 2017. He still continues his duty in this institution. Between 2018-2020, he completed the associate degree programme in Health Institutions Management at Istanbul University, Faculty of Open and Distance Education.
Dr Yavuzsan received the title of Associate Professor in July 2022. Since April 2024, he has been working as an Education Assistant at the Department of Urology, Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences.
Dr Yavuzsan is primarily interested in the fields of uro-oncology and endourology in urology. He is also one of the transplant surgeons in the Kidney Transplant Clinic within the Urology Clinic of Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
Dr Yavuzsan has published nearly 50 articles in international and national indexed journals and has over 200 citations. He is a chapter author in three academic books, 1 academic book editor, 1 book chapter translation. Since the beginning of 2023, he has been working as an associate editor in the Grand Journal of Urology. He has 2 Medical Speciality thesis consultancy and 2 projects completed at the University of Health Sciences, Scientific Research Projects Coordinatorship.
Dr Yavuzsan is married and has 2 children.
